REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL

These are just a few sketches for a short animation I'm working on. It'll be me and Jack dancing to 'Happy' by Best Coast. Just because life is sweet.

TASTY TREATS

A fresh slice of what I've been working on lately.

YOUNG MAN

Young Man, there's no need to feel down, I said Young Man, pick yourself off the ground. There's no need to be unhappy. Take some time out of your busy lives for Young Man, people of the world! You'll feel all the better for it. I promise. His songs don't got time for the radio, the man or the industry. They just got time for laid back day dreaming and luscious melodies. Don't be surprised if your doctor starts prescribing you Young Man as an anti-depressant or a de-stressifizer. But do be surprised if he prescribes it as a contraceptive.

FRANK OCEAN

The latest fresh faced talent to join the Odd Future collective is Frank Ocean. And in the grand tradition of the Odd Future dudes, he takes on the mainstream rap world with his own ideas. But where Frank Ocean differs from his Odd Fut contemporaries is his style of smooth, intelligent R'N'B that is all over his debut release. Which is available to download for free of course. Just when you thought Odd Future couldn't change the game any further, they branch out into slightly more commercial water. But it's definitely slightly, because Frank Ocean still has the same view of girls and the crazy half dumb/half witty chunks of wisdom that Tyler The Creator, Hodgy Beats and the other dudes have. Seriously. Frank Ocean. Get on it.

POOLSIDE

These dudes have only released one song so far, but with that one track, they have got the 2011 summer party started. Super early. Even if they don't release any more songs, or any other songs that are as good vibes inducing as "Do You Believe", SOWHATHOMIEEEE? They have given birth to a solid gold nugget of good vibrations, and you better believe they are going to squeeze out some more. Believe.
