Weekend define "wall of sound" music with their brooding, solid songs. It might seem a bit "whoa dude, noise!!!" at first, but give them more listens and what they're trying to do becomes clear. Dare it be named mood music? It certainly conjures up hallucinations of swimming in thick milkshake and makes you feel like you gotta strive to achieve something.
